INFORMATIVE REPORT ON TREATMENT OF PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED ON www.ring14.org SITE (PRIVACY POLICY)
Ring 14 Association is aware of the importance of the personal data protection.

For the aim of guaranteeing the transparency and the security of the done treatments of the personal data, it provides the following information in observance of the current regulation and recommendations:

NAVIGATION ON www.ring14.org SITE WITHOUT REGISTRATION
The navigation on the site is free and it doesn’t necessarily require the registration. The navigation of those who don’t proceed to the registration isn’t submitted to any kind of control or monitoring.

REGISTRATION ON www.ring14.org SITE
The registration (meant as insertion of its own e-mail) is on the contrary necessary (in accordance with selected services):

• to receive Ring 14 newsletter
• to participate in Ring 14 forum
• in any case to contact Ring 14 Office by e-mail

Even the navigation of those who proceed to registration is not submitted to any kind of control or monitoring.

Personal data will not be in any case communicated or spread to third persons (except for the Forum, unless different option of the concerned person).

CONTRIBUTIONS IN FAVOUR OF RING 14
To give contributions to Ring 14 using the system of on line payment by credit card, it is necessary to provide some simple personal information, that is those required in the proper form. The data will be used exclusively for the above-named aims.

Personal data will not be in any case communicated or spread to third persons.

It is important to notice that the data concerning the credit card are not in any case collected and treated by Ring 14 Association, but only by the institute which manage the payment system.

For the aim of allowing to Ring 14 Association the diffusion of the data to thank publicly the benefactors, it is necessary to express a specific consent.

HISTORIES OF OUR CHILDREN
In the site section given up to “histories of our children” are presented information even of sensitive kind (data about health), concerning some cases of Ring 14 syndrome.

Information is directly and spontaneously provided by concerned families.

Sensitive kind data, with specific reference about health (possible images included) are protected and made accessible upon certification (userID and password) only for the subjects who make precise request to the Association and after proper registration.

Therefore data are not spread on line to all internet users, in observance of the law 675/96.

To send personal data to Ring 14 Association, for the aims and within the limits indicated above, it is necessary to print the informative report and consent form here enclosed, to read it, to sign it and to send it via fax to the No. +39 0522 295046 or via mail to the following address: Associazione Internazionale Ring 14 via Victor Hugo 34 42100 Reggio Emilia Italy.

Only after this sending it is possible to fill up the on line questionnaire and however to provide information to the Association.

In default of the subscription and sending of above named form, Ring 14 Association will not be able to use personal data.

The so collected data are inserted on a database to which only the members of the steering committee of the Association and of the Scientific Committee can accede.

The site www.ring14.org is managed by …, who acts as Responsible of the treatment on Ring 14 association’s behalf.

The data safety measures are guaranteed by…and, in addition to the minimum measures mentioned in the President decree 318/99, consist of….

HOLDER OF THE TREATMENT AND RIGHT OF CONCERNED PERSON
The international Ring 14 Association for research on rare neurogenetic illnesses Onlus (non profit making organization) which holder of treatment , guarantees the right to obtain every moment a confirmation of the data existence, to ask a correction, the updating or the canceling, to be opposed to all or to a part of the treatment, the exercise of any other right provided for by the article 13 (law 675/96) as well.
